いくつもの川や湧き水。豊かな水の流れを持つ京都の街。大徳寺京豆腐小川さんは、ハツミ（市川実日子）が営む豆腐屋の舞台です。マコト（もたいまさこ）の一言から店先にベンチが置かれ、街の人々の交流が行われていきます。小川さんのお豆腐は大豆の味がしっかりしていて、湯豆腐に最適。実際のお店にベンチは置かれていませんが、小川さんのお豆腐を食べて「今日も機嫌よく」お散歩してみてください。

Movie: Mother Water

Kyoto has countless of rivers, springs, and beautiful water flows. Daitokuji Kyotofu Ogawa was taken place of as a Tofu shop where Hatsumi runs. The locals start to mingle, after a word from Makoto to place a bench in front of the shop. Their tofu has vivid taste of soy beans and best for making boiled tofu. Though there is no bench placed at the shop in reality, you can still enjoy their tofu and wander around cheerfully.

小川さんと一緒に行っていただきたいのは、大徳寺北側に位置する焼き菓子屋の【歩粉】さん。東京恵比寿の人気店が惜しまれながら閉店し、京都大徳寺で待望の復活。素材の味を大切に、シンプルで力強くつくられたお菓子たち。食べると顔も心も緩やかになる優しいお味。自分への日々のご褒美に、お友達へのお土産に、いかがでしょうか。オンラインショップもありますよ。

Where we suggest you to go besides the tofu shop is a baked sweets shop “Hoko” locating in the north side of Daitokuji. Although the shop opened up in Tokyo first and had been popular since then, it closed down and reopened again in Kyoto, at Daitokuji. The sweets are simple and able to feel the natural tastes of the ingredients; they will make you smile and bring you pure joy. You can certainly have the sweets as treats for yourself, or as souvenirs for friends. There is an online shop as well, so go check it out!
