Nijo jo castle was built in 1603 as a residence of Tokugawa Ieyasu. It’s a large, and very beautiful castle with full of historical sites to see. Ninomaru-Goden that is registered as a National Treasure, is very attracting as you can walk around inside and see rooms with beautiful wall art.
