1831年創業の歴史ある京菓子屋。一番有名な、赤い羊羹を薄い求肥で巻いた砧(きぬた)を始め、二羽の鳰が浮かぶ葛湯「鳰の浮巣(におのうきす)」や能面のように形どられた「花面(はなおもて)」に、麩焼きせんべいの「雲錦」なども伝統ある長久堂のお菓子です。他にも千菓子や上生菓子、おかきや饅頭などたくさんのラインナップがあります。

It’s a Kyogashi (Kyoto confectionery) shop that has been running since 1831. The most famous confection is called “Kinuta” which is red yokan (bean paste jelly) rolled with gyuhi, a type of mochi. They also have other traditional confections such as “Nio no ukisu” a kudzu starch gruel with two floating birds, “Unkin” a wheat gluten cracker, and “Hanaomote” a sugar dessert shaped like a Noh mask. Besides these famous confections, there are also Jonamagashi, Higashi, Okaki, Manju, etc.
