京菓子の老舗のぼうだい本舗。大粒の栗であっさりと仕上げた甘納豆は絶品。栗の他にもサツマイモや複数の種類の豆の甘納豆などがある。どれも素材の味がしっかりと生かされている。
An old-established shop of Kyo-gashi (Kyoto’s sweets). It’s famous for Ama-natto which is different from natto that Japanese people usually eat. They’re sweet and don’t have strong fermented smell or taste. Chestnut ama-natto are super delicious as each chestnut is big and the flavor of chestnut is preserved. There are other kinds of Ama-natto too, such as sweet potatoes and a few kinds of beans.
